THE SPIRIT OF OUR BRAND AND OUR LIFESTYLE
Favor Bikes was founded in 2008 by a band of extreme sports and sub-culture enthusiasts based out of the urban jungles of Taipei, Taiwan. It began with a simple urge. The urge to design and build durable yet cost-effective rides for the emerging local market and to promote the sport of freestyle bicycling. Building bikes in a country that’s world-renowned for brand name bicycles was no easy task. However Favor Bikes stayed true to it’s calling and fundamental goal of creating a resilient, high quality product. This meant continued research, design, testing and re-design. And an absolute focus on the build of the bike instead of gimmicks and fancy-smancy packaging. It worked. Today Favor Bikes operates retail stores out of Taipei and offers freestyle bicycling courses. This hasn’t gone to their heads though. The Favor Bike team still does what they enjoy best – riding and creating their machines. Needless to say, they love what they do.
